Staring at the stars as if it would guide
Us like the pole star, we implore the night
Sky for direction. Just like a night sky obscured by
The city light, we get the blank answer. We reach
Where we were expected, yet we feel like a captain on
A ship surrounded by ice sheet rendering the ship
Immobile. Like any enigma of life, the answer is simple,
Yet difficult. Those sagacious mortals say we create
Our reality in our mind, which is often more dystopic
Than hell. We become our own enemy looking to
Point fingers at others. We become frustrated by our
Confounded certainty of our life, seeking answer
Everywhere but within us. Enervated and tired of
That desultory journey, we wish to escape from our body.
It’s like walking with the treasure and attempting to forage it
All over the world, making our journey of life suffused with
Vacuity. The treasure which needs to be polished is waiting
To get discovered. Its value is beyond quantification but we
Are busy measuring other’s happiness and successful,
forgetting to invest in ourselves.
Too busy looking for Love from others that we start to despise our own soul.
It’s within our reach to deal with confounded certainty,
But the question is: Are we ready to take a stand for ourselves
and take responsibility for our action?
Are we brave enough to improve ourselves little bit
Every single day? How we answer those questions
determines the quality of our life and
the Depth of our jar containing regrets of life.
